Our Philosophy
In joining the British International Programme community, you become part of an education that believes every child is individual, every child has their own passions, strengths, and unique potential, and that every child needs to be nurtured academically, intellectually, socially, emotionally and personally to achieve that potential. We believe that education is so much more than attainment and grades: we strive to cultivate a love of learning, foster our BIP personal qualities and acquire the knowledge and – more importantly – develop the skills to meet the future with confidence.
Our Mission Statement
Valuing Every Child
Our Aims
To set the highest expectations for student achievement and provide the academic support needed to help every child meet these expectations.
To provide a high-quality internationally-focused curriculum based upon the UK National Curriculum, and offering a broad and diverse range of educational experiences that allow our students to embrace complexity and apply their learning meaningfully.
To foster our BIP personal qualities and enable our students to be adaptable, communicators, collaborators, empathetic, ethical, resilient, respectful, and thinkers.
To recognise our host country as a historical and geographical resource in providing diverse learning opportunities; to connect with the country that we live in.
To promote the value of every child’s importance as an individual within the group.
To ensure that our students question, and approach the world with a critical eye: that our students engage with the world intellectually, appreciate diverse perspectives, and develop international-mindedness.
To constantly develop our safeguarding practices, ensuring we continually adapt and strengthen policies and procedures (where required) to reflect best practice and our unique context, and demonstrate our commitment to well-being.
